Indus Valley World School | November 6-8, 2025
Invictus MUN’25 delivered three exceptional days of diplomatic simulation across four dynamic committees: UNFSC, IPC, UNHGA (SPECPOL), and Lok Sabha. Delegates navigated complex geopolitical scenarios spanning multiple time periods—from futuristic 2034 settings to Cold War-era 1974—while tackling intense crisis situations including hostage negotiations, encrypted message decoding with Vigenère Cipher, war cabinet proceedings, and real-time political upheavals. The conference showcased innovative elements like auction-based consensus games and UNHGA’s dramatic mid-conference transformation into the Aegis Council. The International Press Corps actively shaped the narrative through breaking updates and exclusive interviews, while strategic blocs like NATO and ACES drove negotiations and Action Orders across committees.
The conference recognized outstanding diplomatic performance across all committees. In UNHGA (SPECPOL), Shruti Agarwal (USSR) from Indus House earned Best Delegate, while Ishanya Singh Rawat (UK) from Indus received Outstanding Delegate. Special Mentions went to Soumyadeep Das (Canada) and Sagnik Banerjee (Egypt), both from Yamuna, with Verbal Mention to Sneha Chakroborty (Norway) from Brahmaputra. The UNFSC committee saw Trishaan Saha and Humaira Imran (Germany) from Brahmaputra claim Best Delegate honors, with Outstanding Delegate awarded to Vradaraj Choudhary and Srijan Debnath (USA) from Ganga. Special Mentions recognized Rachit Rai (Denmark) and the team of Arka Adhikary and Dhritiman Das (France), both from Indus, alongside multiple Verbal Mentions for delegates from Ganga and Brahmaputra.
In the International Press Corps, Aditi Barbora (Folha de S.Paulo) from Yamuna secured Best Delegate, with Bianca Bagchi (The Japan Times), also from Yamuna, earning Outstanding Delegate. Special Mentions went to Punarnava Bhattacharya (The Sydney Morning Herald) from Indus and Aishwarya Jha (BBC) from Ganga, while Verbal Mentions recognized Aranya Chaudhuri (Vice News) from Yamuna and Reshmi Dutta (The Hindu) from Ganga. The Lok Sabha committee awarded Best Delegate to Aaratrika Ray (Asaduddin Owaisi) from Indus, with Outstanding Delegate going to Arjyahi Bhattacharjee (Rahul Gandhi) from Brahmaputra. Special Mentions honored Adrija Kundu (Mallikarjun Kharge) from Brahmaputra and Rajdeep Das (Sheikh Abdul Rashid) from Yamuna, with Verbal Mentions for Rishita Chakraborty (Anurag Thakur) from Indus and Darsheel Bhattacharya (Narendra Modi) from Brahmaputra.
