Workshop at KCC
20/04/2026
Our students participated in workshops conducted at KCC on 17 April 2026. One was a Storytelling Workshop for students of Grades 3 to 6, and the other a Creative Writing Workshop for students of Grades 7 to 9.
The storytelling workshop based on Sukumar Roy’s stories Hajaborolo and Pagla Dashu was conducted by RJ Agni, who effectively demonstrated the art of reading a story with expression and engagement. He highlighted the importance of voice modulation, understanding characters deeply, and presenting a story in a captivating manner. The students actively participated and thoroughly enjoyed the session.
The creative writing workshop was conducted by the renowned author, Shri Indranil Sanyal. He provided valuable guidance on how to initiate a story, develop the plot, construct meaningful dialogues, choose appropriate vocabulary, and build towards a compelling climax. He emphasized the importance of maintaining suspense and excitement to keep readers engaged. The students were encouraged to write their own imaginative stories and share them with him, which greatly enhanced their learning experience.
Overall, both workshops were highly informative and engaging. The students gained significant insights and expressed great enthusiasm, making the entire program a resounding success.
