EARTH DAY CELEBRATION 2026
23/04/2026
Indus Valley World School joyfully celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from the Pre-primary and Primary students. The young learners engaged in a variety of meaningful and hands-on activities that fostered awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability.
The students explored eco-friendly practices through activities such as compost making and sorting waste materials based on their recycling capacity. These experiences helped them understand the importance of reducing waste and caring for the environment in their daily lives. Creativity flourished as children expressed their thoughts through vibrant paintings and showcased their innovation by creating beautiful posters using waste materials.
Adding a special highlight to the celebration, the students of Class 3A conducted a thoughtful and engaging special assembly. It featured a melodious song, an impactful skit conveying the message of environmental responsibility, and a heartfelt pledge where students promised to be “warriors of the Earth” and work towards preserving the planet for a better future.
The celebration not only made learning enjoyable but also instilled a strong sense of responsibility among students, inspiring them to become conscious and caring citizens of the Earth.
