Eedha Chakravartty has made West Bengal proud by clinching the Silver Medal and securing All India Rank – 2nd in the 12–13 Years Female Kata category at the All India KAI Sub-Junior, Cadet & Junior Karate Championship 2026. Representing Team West Bengal, Eedha displayed exceptional skill, discipline, confidence and fighting spirit while competing against strong athletes from Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura and Maharashtra. With remarkable composure, technical skill and determination, she successfully progressed through the competition and earned her place among the top performers in the country in her age category.
The championship was held from 7th to 9th August 2026 at Netaji Subhash Sports Arena, Techno India Hooghly Campus, Chinsurah, West Bengal, under the aegis of the Karate Association of India (KAI).
Eedha’s outstanding performance and national-level achievement are a testament to her dedication, perseverance and commitment to excellence in Karate-Do. Her Silver Medal is a moment of immense pride for Team West Bengal and a significant milestone in her sporting journey.
