Echoes of Agomoni: A Celebration of Togetherness
14/10/2026
Indus Valley World School celebrated the arrival of Durga Puja with a Special Assembly, Agomoni, held on 14.10.26. The programme, titled “From Memories to Moments: The Changing Spirit of Puja,” took the audience through two worlds: the cherished traditions of the past and the Puja of the present day.
The presentation followed Tojo, a young visitor experiencing Durga Puja at his grandmother’s home for the first time. From the Mahalaya dawn, with the Mahishasuramardini echoing through the neighbourhood, to a pandal-hopping outing with his mother, his journey revealed that the true spirit of Puja lies not in the pandals or photographs, but in the moments and people we share them with. Energetic performances of Aham Rudreno, Rupang Dehi and Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu, with dhunuchi and dhaak, brought the hall alive. The event ended on a happy note with our Principal Mrs. Reshma Bhattacharya wishing everyone Shubho Sharodiya.
Our heartfelt appreciation to the students, teachers and guides whose dedication made the morning so memorable.
