Indus Valley World School was honoured to host a soul-stirring programme by SPIC MACAY — the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth — a movement dedicated to nurturing appreciation for India’s classical music, dance, folk traditions, yoga, and crafts among young minds. Students and faculty were spellbound as Smt. Mohana Iyer and Samrat Dutta, distinguished Bharatanatyam exponents and choreographers, wove tales through graceful movement and expression, complemented by the rhythmic brilliance of mridangam artist Ratul S. Kumar and the melodious Carnatic vocals of Sreerag. The session offered a rare and enriching glimpse into India’s timeless artistic heritage, leaving the audience deeply inspired.
