27/03/2026

The year-end exhibition, Kala Katha – The Saga of Indian Art, presented by Grades 3–5, was a vibrant celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage. The event beautifully showcased the creativity and understanding of young learners as they explored diverse regional art forms and traditions.

Grade 3 students delved into the artistic and cultural legacy of the north-eastern and eastern states, including Assam, West Bengal, and Odisha. Their displays highlighted traditional elements such as hilsa, palanquins, and exquisite handicrafts, reflecting the essence of these regions.

Grade 4 students brought the western states—Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh—to life through engaging models and presentations. They depicted themes like the Indira Gandhi Canal, water conservation, Kavaad art, the Rann of Kutch, the Dandi March, tiger conservation, and the valour of Chhatrapati Shivaji and his guerrilla warfare.

Grade 5 students presented an insightful exploration of India’s architectural marvels and rich medicinal heritage.

The exhibition stood as a powerful example of experiential learning, where knowledge extended beyond textbooks into meaningful, hands-on exploration. It nurtured critical thinking, creativity, and cultural sensitivity, instilling in students a deeper connection with their roots and an enduring appreciation for India’s diverse legacy.
