Grades V and VI enjoyed a restful picnic amid verdant surroundings, at Nandaram Gardens (Thakurpukur) on 10th January 2026. Time was a considerate ally, and the wintry day was warmed by unbounded energy, unhindered play and enthusiastic feasting. As the cherry music played on, the young adventurers mingled in fine frolic, and revelled in friendly exchange, marked by familiarity or the keenness of fresh acquaintance. The day’s highlight was the scrumptious food as well as games like ‘passing the pillow’. The outing saw teachers and students bear thoughtful company to one another. As the children boarded the buses for their return journey, a tempting orange in hand, they looked hardly exhausted rather happy in robust form.
