The Inter-School Fest Kalrav 2025, organised by BDM International School, was a vibrant showcase of creativity and talent.
The programme began with ‘Walk for Nature’, a ramp show by Nursery students — Ivaan Majumdar, Saranika Barman, Mayan Ghosh and Nivika Patwari who depicted grass with a grasshopper, the Hargila bird, a pangolin and a mushroom. Their act highlighted biodiversity and carried a conservation message, ending with the banner “Let’s Walk for Nature!”

Lower KG students — Rishika Roychowdhury, Tvisha Anagh, Srija Baidya, Amayra Majumder, Arushe Dey, and Rajeshwari Bhattacharya — staged ‘Confluence: A Happy Meet’, a lively dance medley full of joy and energy.
UKG children presented the play ‘The Magical Key to My World of Wonder’, featuring Mia, Flora, Robo and Timtim. Through imaginative enactment, they conveyed the values of appreciating nature, invention and dreams in everyday life.
Grades I and II performed ‘Peppy Steppers’, a western dance by Nirvaan Deb, Dipshikha Ghosh, Kushagra Verma, Areehan Bhattacharjee, Aarunya Singh, and Advait Saxena, enthralling the audience with rhythm and enthusiasm.
Off-stage events included ‘Sculpt It Right’ (clay modelling) by Roshni Mazumder and Susmit Debnath of Grade I who skillfully shaped imaginative figures out of clay, reflecting artistry and fine motor skills.
‘Canvas of Flavours’ which was a healthy breakfast buffet by Yashoda Dasgupta and Samanway Bose of Grade II presented a thoughtful spread of nutritious dishes, highlighting the importance of healthy eating through a beautifully arranged buffet.
The fest was a resounding success, reflecting the young learners’ imagination, artistry and teamwork and truly capturing the spirit of Kalrav 2025.

Achievements at Kalrav 2025
The fest also celebrated the efforts of young performers with star recognitions:
– Peppy Steppers — the energetic western dance by Grades I and II participants earned 3 Stars for their lively performance.
– Canvas of Flavours — the thoughtful healthy buffet presentation by Grade II students received 1 Star.
– Confluence: A Happy Meet — the joyful dance medley by Lower KG children was awarded 1 Star.
These accolades added sparkle to the event, acknowledging the creativity and enthusiasm of the participants.
