“Shades of Inclusion” Celebration

On 5th December 2025, Indus Valley World School collaborated with DeepRanjani Foundation to celebrate “Shades of Inclusion” on the occasion of World Disability Awareness Day. The event was designed to promote acceptance, unity, and meaningful engagement between learners of diverse abilities.
A group of 15 specially-abled trainees from DeepRanjani Foundation joined our students for an interactive experience that highlighted the true essence of inclusion. The celebration began with a thoughtful discussion on inclusion, facilitated by Dr. Amrita Panda, Founder & Managing Director of DeepRanjani Foundation, and Mr. Mainak Ghosh, Counselling Psychologist. The session encouraged students to reflect on embracing differences and fostering an inclusive community.
Following the interaction, all participants enthusiastically engaged in a music and dance session, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere. The day concluded with a pottery activity, where students and trainees worked together, building bonds and celebrating creativity. The collaborative experience resulted in shared smiles, meaningful connections, and memorable moments of togetherness.
The programme was a beautiful reminder that inclusion is not just an idea—it is a lived experience of unity, respect, and shared joy.
