SCHOOL ACTIVITY

On the 13th of February 2025, a unique presentation on Cyber Security was held in the IVWS auditorium for students by Federal Bank in association with 91.9 Friends FM to create an awareness about the need to be vigilant while using the internet and protecting internet-connected systems like hardware, software and personal data. Common threats like phishing, ransomware and malware were clearly explained and students were encouraged to voice their concerns about internet usage. Various protection methods were enumerated and a general awareness about digital arrests was also created. The session concluded with a fun quiz and winners took home small mementoes from the programme. Presentations like this is very important to make young people aware of how to stay protected in the digital world and build critical skills in identifying possible threats while securing data at the same time.
