Visit to Rotary Sadan – Panel Discussion on ‘Gratitude’

On 20th November, seven students of Grade 8 visited Rotary Sadan to attend a meaningful panel discussion on the theme “Gratitude Fosters Peace & Resolves Conflicts,” an initiative of the Rotary Club of Calcutta Presidency.
The programme began with a soulful opening song, followed by an energetic band performance and a short, engaging skit. The highlight of the event was the panel discussion featuring eminent speakers—Dr. Jai Ranjan Ram (Child Psychiatrist, Apollo), Prof. (Dr.) Deepali Singhee (Principal, ILEADs Institute), and Ms. Jessica Gomes Surana (Principal, Birla High School, Mukundapur), moderated by PDG Ravi Sehgal. Their insights helped students understand the power of gratitude in building harmony and resolving conflicts. The Chief Guest, Rtn. Aniruddha Roychowdhury, addressed the gathering and motivated the young audience to practise gratitude in their everyday lives. It was a truly enriching experience that deepened their understanding of gratitude and its role in fostering peace.
