Sports and Games have been an integral part of school life as the mind and body are inseparable. Sports and Games not only enliven and refresh the body, they also activate and boost the performance of the mind. At the same time, they play a great role in disciplining the person. | 15.12.2019 | ANNUAL SPORTS MEET | The Annual Sports of the Senior School was held at the Gitanjali Stadium. Mr. Jag Mohan, IPS, Director General Fire and Emergency Services, was the Chief Guest and Subhajit Saha, Arjuna awardee and national ranked Table Tennis champion was the Guest of Honour. The morning began with a grand march past and a torch relay which saw our star sportsmen light the flame. This was followed by the athletic events interspersed with spectacular displays of yoga, martial arts and drills. The most exciting event of the day was an Inter School Relay in which athletes from 12 schools competed. |
